Following two enjoyable days of cricket, one at Chilmark CC and the second at Larkhill for the Royal Artillery fixture, 4 cricketers have applied to join the Queries – and we shall be delighted to sign them up. Jake Hand [spinner], Tom Churchill [batter] and Sam Waters [spinner] are all Farley CC players, and Will Harries [pace] is a Shrewton player.
We have also heard that there are two young brothers who are keen to play for the Queries, one 17 and the other 13, and we hope to hear from them soon with a view to them playing in the Urchfont game.
We have also signed up a new member Calum Burnstone at the Dauntsey’s School fixture. He is an all rounder and his name is already down for the Canford match !
New players/members are the lifeblood of the Queries so if you know of someone who would enjoy our cricket, please let us know.
