You may be an experienced scorer or someone who has ‘done a few overs’ or someone who is wondering how all those coloured squiggles add up. You may want to continue your involvement in cricket or assist your club or just keep score for fun.
Wiltshire Association of Cricket Officials has training available for you.
Start with a Taster Session – Sunday 3rd March – from 9.00am to 12 noon – at Beversbrook Sports Facility, Calne, SN11 9FL – this is a FREE session to introduce the techniques of scoring.
Those interested who cannot make this date should contact Mrs Sally Pitman (details below) as there is an evening session available on Tuesday 26th February.
Then progress to the Club Scorer Course – running over five Tuesday evenings – 5/12/19/26 March and 2 April, from 7.00 to 9.30pm, at Trowbridge CC, County Ground, BA14 8PX. This is the full course and should be booked online via the ECB ACO website. There is a £30 fee which includes membership of ECB ACO and all materials. All interested participants will ideally have attended a Taster session first.
If you are interested in attending, or would like further information, please contact Mrs Sally Pitman, Wiltshire ACO Scorers Officer on firstname.lastname@example.org or 01380 726145 or 07828 261592.
