2008 (75th) SEASON

The Algarve 6 a side Festival at Vilamoura

These photos were taken by Barry Aitken before his camera broke!
More photos, taken by other Queries on the trip, will be added later.

A general view of the ground

Club President David Haywood travelled as scorer,
and scored for at least 10 matches on the first day alone.

The first thing to be done at Gatwick on the way out was to
look after the inner man! Two farmer's fried breakfasts please!

There was tennis to be played, and Jim Langan
demonstrated very well that he was a trained player!

Team Captain Wayne Egglestone gets a call from his sponsor. The haircut
on the first day was a disaster and so this crew cut followed in order to hide the mess.

On the other hand, Tom Grant had no such problems with his hair,
and put a red stripe down the middle to add some colour.

Jim Langan's smile means that he escaped the barber and the dyer!

Team photo - with David H subbing for James Melhorn who couldn't play. From 3 matches,
Wayne top-scored with 43 and Tom Grant got 34. Wayne also got 3 wickets in the
same matches.

Fielding and catching skills were honed in the pool
