Last season the Queries won by 28 runs, with Jack Bramwell spearheading the attack with a fine start-of-season 52 and then Chris Downham’s 4 for 19 in 10.1 overs was the match winner. This season, Nick has picked a Queries All Stars XI – Jake Bunday, Chris Downham, Will Dawe, Dan Hodder, Jack Bramwell, Richard Millard,Andy Phillips, Joe Dorgan, Tom Grant, Matt Jamieson, and himself.
The side will meet at the Hyde Sports ground at 1.00pm for a 2.00pm start and after the match everyone has been invited back to Nick and Gilly’s home for a bbq.
